Can I have fifty 40 cent stamps, please?

Osamu enjoys the weather and environment of Hawaii. Also, Osamu can spend a lot of time relaxing. He can't be bothered by people calling him on the telephone. Osamu wanted to do something that he normally didn't do in Japan. He decided to write letters to aquaintances that he didn't contact in a while. First he planned to buy post cards and stamps. But he didn't know what to say at the post office. Finally, he brought his post cards to the post office. On the narrow counter, he put stamps on his letters one by one with his wife. At the post office, you should be quick and concise because there can be long lines. People might get irritated at you for holding up the line, especially at Christmas time..

また、日本へ送る葉書の切手代はいくらですか?/How much does a post card to Japan cost?/という表現も知っておくと便利です。
